For the future in the distance and the good that we can do

What we do

The Arthur Shakespeare Foundation for Scouting was established in 1985 as a trust dedicated to supporting the development of Scouting in the ACT, Australia. From the rebuild of Camp Cottermouth, destroyed in the 2003 Canberra bushfires, to equipment purchase, to scout hall upgrades, to youth scholarships and more, the ASF stands with Scouts ACT.

Projects

We assist Scouts ACT with equipment purchases, leader training, scout hall maintenance and youth program costs.

Scholarships

We fund three youth development scholarships chiefly to attend national and international scouting events.

Camp Cottermouth

We rebuilt Scouts ACT’s signature facility and contribute to its continuing enhancement.

Donor Scheme

We are registered charity with deductible gift recipient status. Join our Donor Scheme today and support our work.
